Speed read: Redesign 3 DVD cases produced by Pegasus Entertainment, a small company specialising in niche interest films who wanted to redesign their whole range of DVD's as they began to work with larger suppliers.

In detail: Given nothing but the original cases I was tasked to redesign them using only royalty free images and typefaces, mimicking their in-house process. The originals were pretty poor, and made heavy use of strong gradients and word art creating a low budget feel. As the company were growing and working with bigger distributors they wanted their new cases to reflect a renewed feeling of quality. As good quality, relevant, free imagery can be difficult to source I decided that my designs would lean on typography and colour. With the aim to create something comparably understated but strong, relevant to topic with a sense of excitement that comes with watching a film.
